About
A Gallery AB began in Gothenburg in 1995 with the official art portfolio for the World Championships in Athletics – featuring some of Sweden’s most influential artists, including Helene Billgren and Ernst Billgren, with an introduction by Peter Dahl.
In 1996, we opened our first gallery and began curating exhibitions that challenged, expanded, and reframed how art lives in the world. Over nearly two decades, we presented close to 100 shows – moving from modern Swedish painting to more international and urban narratives.
Since 2014, we’ve evolved into a contemporary art structure working across advising, collecting, and collaborative production. With studios in Gothenburg and Barcelona, we support collectors, artists, and institutions in building collections with depth, precision, and cultural pulse.
Today, A Gallery AB functions less like a traditional gallery – and more like a living system for contemporary art management.
We operate where relevance happens: between people, places, and practices.
